Fasig-Tipton Catalog 18 for March Digital Sale *The Racing Biz

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 18 entries for its March Selected Digital Sale, the company’s first online auction to take place on its new digital platform. Bidding is now officially open for sale and will close this Tuesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. EDT.
The catalog, which can now be viewed at digital.fasigtipton.com, includes horses of racing age, race candidates and/or broodmares, inbred mares and a stallion share in European Champion ALMANZOR ( FR).
“We couldn’t be happier with the strength of this catalog,” said Fasig-Tipton Digital Sales Manager Leif Aaron. “Our goal with this first digital auction was to build a catalog of high quality entries and, with the support of our shippers, we have achieved this. Potential buyers will find something of interest on every page, with horses of racing age in top current form, prospects from credentialed and stake-certified broodmares, and mares in foal on exciting blankets.
“In addition, we are happy to offer a share to promising young stallion Almanzor (FR), who is off to a fantastic start at stud in both the northern and southern hemispheres,” added Aaron. “This is a rare offering that adds another level of international interest and intrigue to our first digital sale.”
Each entry’s page will feature a catalog-style pedigree, five-cross pedigree, photos, and walking videos. Horses of racing age and offers of prospecting pages for racehorses / brood mares Daily race form Past performances, Thoroughmanager past performances, Ragozin speed figures and race replays. Full mare pages provide hypothetical True Nicks and Goldmine matings. Access to veterinary information and a repository are available on applicable entries.
For this inaugural sale, all horses of racing age have x-rays at the depot.
Information about the location of entries is also provided, and registered bidders can contact sellers from the entry’s page to arrange an inspection or request additional information.
